The Darkest King: William's Story by Gena Showalter

4.0

I read this without reading any other books in the series, I don't think it effected my view of it since there were only a couple confusing parts that I attributed to having read the other books. Otherwise this was a great standalone story. I was thoroughly entertained. I thought it was a fun spicy story, with a little darkness. Sunny and William's interactions were kind of funny but also sexy. William is a very over the top character with how he views himself but I loved it. I was surprised by the comedy aspects given how the cover looks and from reading the synopsis, It was a good surprise though.
