Although this book is quite slow paced it's definitely worth getting through as it isn't a large book. I think people who enjoy books like 1984 and Brave New World would like this book as it is a dystopian novel. I was left reeling when I finished this book because I was not expecting the outcome that it had. An instant classic and a great pick if you are an English language reader who is looking for some translated fiction as this book's original language is Japanese.
