I really wanted to love this book but it just wasn’t quite what I was hoping for.
The story was pretty fun, but the characters were all so.. flat in my opinion.
Charlie was so insecure and worried about becoming a spinster. While I definitely related to her in a lot of ways, I feel like I read a book to see someone relatable who overcomes the things they struggle with. But I felt like Charlie just.. stayed stuck.
Liam was too perfect for sure, but I did still like him. Who can resist the sweet and charming attractive man? Not me haha
I felt like the ending/resolution was rushed and there wasn’t a lot of character development to get there.
Vera was the best part of the whole book hands down! She was so funny! Loved her.
I’m interested to try out some of the authors other books!
