Fabulous Book! Very Original!
Lily Harper day isn’t starting out good and then she gets in a car accident and everything goes to hell in a basket.
The story is fast paced, humorous, and completely enthralling. The characters were colorful, believable, and quirky. They fit together well.
Lily is the really smart girl, who now finds herself with a hot body. I really enjoyed her courage and strength along with her naiveté. I loved the way she uses quotes and positive affirmations to re-enforce her courage.
The guardian angel Bill reminds me of an updated Danny DeVito character in Twins (yes that was a movie from the 1980s). Bill is repulsive, rude and obnoxious, but he is also loyal and protective. I think he is even sorry about the mistake he made before.
Tallis is mysterious, cunning, strong, dazzling and knowledgeable about so many things. Tallis saves the day, smiles a little and makes Lily think about things and feel things that she hasn’t felt before. He guides Lily on her mission, for a price of course.
The story was superb and I have already recommended it to my friends.
