Twilight: The Complete Illustrated Movie Companion by Mark Cotta Vaz

2.0

I just don’t really understand who this was written for. It describes scenes in the movies as if a person who has never heard of Twilight before picked up a book about the film. But then, it goes into very specific things about people who worked on the movie. And then - back to descriptions of the movie. There’s very few interesting facts in there.

At one point the author credits Wendy Chuck, the costume designer, for the idea of dressing them in “light and white” instead of dark colors typically associated with vampires. As if it wasn’t in the book. How dare.

Chuck again saying Peter Facinelli wanted scarves and collars on his shirt because he was bitten on his neck to be turned - but I’m not sure when it’s discussed how he was turned anymore so that might have been a mutual mistake. Either way, nope.

And Ian Phillips, the art director, is quoted as saying they have blood bags in the garage as a snack for the road lmao.

Pointing out those was my only fun reading this snooze fest :(
