Casting Off by Hugh Howey, Mehmet Rasim Emirosmanoğlu

5.0

The third Wool is all about Juliette, and she is a great character! Mr. Howey writes her superbly and she is my favorite so far. By now we are certain there is a big secret that someone is working hard to hide, even through malfeasance. As Juliette digs deeper and follows along Holston's trail, we start to glimpse the secrets of the silo and beyond. But Mr. Howey only gives us a tiny peek, just enough to make our thoughts go crazy with questions. Like Juliette, we have now realized that there is something BIG going on, but we don't know what, or why. Instead we are left with questions and theories and the knowledge that we alone have realized there is a curtain which hides the truth. The bliss of ignorance has left us and we now carry the weight of the unknown. I can't wait to read more. These stories are highly addictive and will keep you up turning pages when you should be sleeping.
