Your House Is on Fire, Your Children All Gone by Stefan Kiesbye

3.0

Quite an entertaining and interesting read. However, the book is divided into several different povs and every single one of the voices sounded exactly the same. Sometimes I genuinely forgot from whose pov I was reading  and had to look for certain character specific clues.
The plot also just felt a bit aimless;
you follow the messed up lives of these kids in this village and it all somehow kinda relates to the Holocaust in the end and how the villagers' took part in it and that's why they're cursed.

I have trouble understanding what the point of the story was at all, but I did have fun nonetheless.
