Rachel's Holiday by Marian Keyes

5.0

I will never give any Marian’s books less than 4 stars, but this is a close second favorite of mine, after Watermelon. As usual she tells us an intense, dramatic and too close for confort story with snippets of seriously laugh out loud moments. This one is about addiction and again she gives us a real portrait of the hardness of reality and brings so much empathy and sorrow and hope at the same time.
If you have a close case of addiction, thread lightly - it can be a trigger but can also give a new understanding and a lot of hope and strenght.
