The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea, by Axie Oh

4.0

The best book I've read (so far) this year.

I'm usually afraid of books with a too fantastical cover artwork, because the content might not live up to the hype. In the case of The Girl Who Fell Beneath The Sea, Axie Oh exceeds the expectation.

Fantastical, warm, imaginative, good flow.
It reminds me a lot of Spirited Away as well as Crescent City, but stands freely on its own legs.
