If I had a nickel for every time a presumably dead character was revealed to actually be alive, I’d have three nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened thrice right? Anyways, as always, I liked this volume. Revealing Roy’s schemes is always a treat. Also Riza’s anguish when she thought Roy was dead? Heartbreaking. I was actually surprised by Lust’s death because I didn’t think she could actually be killed. But the biggest surprise of them all was Papa Elric coming back to Resembool. Can’t wait to see the father-son reunion. Also what happened to that little Xing princess? I miss her. Hope she’s doing okay.
Graphic: Gun violence, Blood, and Injury/Injury detail
