The Stranger: The Graphic Novel, by Jacques Ferrandez

2.0

I haven't read the original and the graphic novel is difficult to follow without that background. The plot in the first part wasn't very clear as it was unfolding. And the main character wasn't very sympathetic in this version...maybe he's not in the original either?

There is a sense of...something here. Interesting ideas that are begging to be fleshed out and mulled over.

Overall, the brevity of the graphic novel format doesn't seem like a good fit for this story.
