If Only by Cherise Sinclair

3.0

I liked this book mostly due to a fondness for the M/f/M dynamic but it wasn't quite as good as previous books in the series. I know Cherise Sinclair was trying to explain Sally's behaviour previously as a mask and I get that but there were still aspects that were a departure of her character in my opinion. One example, the quick jump to conclusions when they cut the phone call short, I mean in the real world people work and can't devote 100% of their time to you 24/7, you don't rush to conclude they want nothing to do with you. If Sally is supposed to be so intelligent why does she come across as so stupid several times during the book.
Unlike other reviews, I will continue to read the books as it is still my favourite series but I think Ms.Sinclair might want to consider a departure from the focus of an individual relationship for each book and maybe just expand into more depth of the characters she has already developed and add new ones as needed.
