The Grace Year by Kim Liggett

5.0

Never has a book left me with such breathlessness throughout my reading. I though the plot was interesting enough to add to my TBR. What I hadn't expected was that The Grace Year would make it's way to not only my favorite book of the year, but one of my favorite books of all time.

I can honestly say there were so many moments, so many twists and turns that I hadn't expected, that hadn't even occurred to me. Perhaps they never occurred to me because for once I wasn't trying to guess the ending, I was truly and fully immersed in this story. I could feel the hurt, the betrayal, the fear, the love, the friendship, the hope with every word that I read.

Kim Liggett is a new author for me but after reading The Grace Year, I'm intrigued, I want to devour more of her words, her stories, the emotions she can express in each sentence that reach through the pages and touch you. Wow. I'm still trying to process everything that I feel from The Grace Year. I didn't know my life was missing this book. But it was.
