The last chapter really bumped this to 5 stars for me. What haven’t I already said about Neil Gaiman—he’s just the master. His stories are so uniquely his own, so perfectly balanced between the fantastical and grotesque, and the gut wrenchingly profound. I loved experiencing this on audio, in his own voice. I won’t forget these characters—Bod, Silas, Mr. and Mrs. Owens, the man Jack, the Sleer and all the other graveyard inhabitants—anytime soon.
Moderate: Death, Grief, Death of parent, and Murder
