L'Automne de Chiaki by Kazumi Yumoto

3.0

I like how grief and death were portrayed in this book, especially since the targeted audience is children. Overall, it was a sweet novel even though it had a tragic subject.

We follow the main character named Chiaki who lost her dad. She moved in a new place with her mom where she meets an old woman who can give letters to people who passed away. From there, Chiaki will start write letters to her dad in order to deal with her grief.
