Listen to Me by Tess Gerritsen
I give this book 4.5 stars

The murder of a nurse is both gruesome and seemingly senseless. As Detective Jane Rizzoli and Forensic Pathologist Maura Isles investigate the baffling case, they discover that Sofia was guarding a dangerous secret -- .
Meanwhile, Jane's watchful mother Angela is conducting an investigation of her own about the new neighbours across the street.
Jane and Maura are too busy to pay attention to Angela's fears. With no one listening to her she may be forced to take action on her own...

Although this is part of a series l read and enjoyed this as a standalone.
The fast moving chapters alternate between 4 main characters and the author does a fantastic job of crafting an action packed storyline with 2 murders and a very nosy neighbour mystery. The writing grabbed and held me throughout the book.l loved Janes mum Angela for me her chapters were the best bits.A brilliant suspenseful thriller with a clever dash of humour.
I read a lot of thrillers but this author and book stood out.,lm already looking forward to the next instalment
With thanks to Netgalley,Tess Gerritsen and Random House UK, Transworld Publishers, Bantam Press for my chance to read and review this book.
