Grenouille (the books focus) is an incredible concept of a man. The imagination of süskind is nothing short of chilling and indulgent. This book is a truly original piece that I can’t imagine ever finding something remotely similar.
Spoiler
olfactory, being a new word to me, will be a word that I won’t soon forget. Grenouille, in the simplest of terms, is a bad person. However, he is the most fascinating ‘bad person’ to ever have been.Moderate: Pedophilia and Murder
Minor: Religious bigotry
