Guilty Pleasures by Laurell K. Hamilton

4.0

Rating weighted for nostalgia/sentimental value. I'm re-reading this series for the first time in at least 15 years. It has not aged well. LKH writes people of all genders the way so many male authors write women. The religious slant gives me the ick now. But I love the premise and how LKH weaved it into the political landscape. I'll reserve any more judgement until I re-read later books, but I remember losing enthusiasm around book 10 due to the plot getting lost in all the sex scenes.
