What. a. wild. ride. I can honestly say I have never read anything like Big Swiss. The premise had me hooked from the start. The writing is dark and funny but can lean too far into excessive grotesque detail at times for my taste. There are a lot of triggers in this book so tread carefully if you have sensitivities to violence, mental illness, drug use, etc. That being said, Big Swiss is unhinged, problematic, and raw, but it's also very funny and endearing. If you enjoy flawed characters and inconclusive endings, Big Swiss might be for you.
