The writing is impeccable. The language she uses and her word choice was excellent. The story of mothers, mothering, and grasping for understanding on your sense of self and how to love. I would recommend this book 100 times over. It was haunting and left me wanting just a few more pages. The author has a deep understanding on the emotional rollercoaster that is being a loving wife and wanting to be the perfect mother while also learning to raise your children differently than the trauma-filled experiences we all have. Truly wonderful writing and she gets all the language and internal dialogue so well!
