🌶 | murder mystery but surprisingly enjoyed it

fmc gets pregnant but mmc did not want it at first [it did not mainly focus on the pregnancy as mmc was not involved but i loved the moments of the leads with their newborn baby]

really enjoyed the angst of the mmc and just how sweet fmc was in handling the situation [mmc was a bit brutal and cold because he was a broken hero… and that was his way of hiding his fear]

there were already ‘groveling’ during the first few chapters… and i loved it

there were a lot of characters [as this was already book 4 or 5 of the series] but really loved the bond between them
