Did not finish book. Stopped at 30%.
I just can't with this book. I originally started this on kindle and loved the beginning so much that I paused and bought a physical copy. What I didn't realise was that straight after I stopped reading the "hero", Hades, rapes Persephone (WTF??), the author tried to make an excuse that he had to claim her otherwise something bad would happen (mild spoiler), but there was absolutely no need for this scene, Persephone was keen anyway! He could have just told her what was happening! so fucking dumb and clearly just an excuse to put in some noncon content. Persephone forgives him pretty much straight away and willing bangs him at 130 pages in. So not even a grovel. Where is the story planning to go with no romantic tension? Just a bunch of whinging about how she doesn't love him (shocker!) is my guess. Pretty disappointed I bought a paperback now :(
