I am not sure if I would have liked this book, or even finished it, had it not been on audio. The plot was very slow that I would zone out a lot and the had to re-listen. Aaaaand, I missed nothing! It's more of a character study than a domestic/psychological suspense instead of the great balance that Little Big Lies (the novel, it is slated to be like). I would put this novel in line with Mrs. Dalloway - you will either really like it or hate it (and I liked Mrs. Dalloway).
