A Touch of Dead by Charlaine Harris

2.0

Consisting of 5 short stories that, by the author's own admission, don't really fit the flow of the main story, this volume is a quick weekend read but maybe not worth the effort except to the most extreme Sookie junkies and completist. These stories lack the effortlessness that makes the main series a pleasure to read. In the absence of that, otherwise forgivable shortcomings like the author's rambling and the lack of really good editing become really glaring, even irritating in places. The content of the stories was fine, but superfluous. In the end, they were left out for a reason.
