I whipped through this book. Seriously it was over and I was like already? That’s how fun and captivating these characters and their story is. It’s a vampire named Vayl (I just call him Val but i think it’s pronounced Veil. Either way it’s a dumb name) who is an assassin that works for the CIA. He acquires an assassin assistant, Jaz, who begins to go on the missions with him. This book centers around a mission they were sent on in Miami. These characters have such good teasing banter and potential that I can envision where their relationship might take them. I will be reading the rest of this series as soon as possible.
