I liked this book. I liked it more than[b:Counting on a Countess|35068619|Counting on a Countess (The London Underground, #2)|Eva Leigh|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1501888557s/35068619.jpg|56364069]. I liked Alex. I liked Cassandra. They had chemistry. I did spend the second half of the book, cursing them for idiots.

I liked the plot. I thought it was interesting and that Cassandra wasn't apologetic about her past. I liked that Alex figured out Cassandra's past quickly instead of dragging it on the whole book and dumping it at the end for the most tragically annoying way of finding out.

I didn't like Alex's friends. Langdon maybe but not Ellingsworth. I read Counting on a Countess first. I didn't hardly recognize Ellingsworth as Kit at all. And if I had read this series in order I might not have picked up the second one because I kinda hated Ellingsworth.
