Omg this book was SO GOOD!! Someone make a movie out of this, stat! It reminded me a lot of Bridget Jones's Diary but plus themes of trauma, healing, growing up, building a life, and the many facets and faces of misogyny. So good! I sped through this in like 2 days! It lifted my mood so much and made me so happy!  I will be reading all of Mhairi McFarlane's other work immediately!
