I have very much enjoyed all of the novels of this series, and in fact all of the novels I have read by this author. She writes a great historical romance, with clever characters, witty conversation, and well developed family units and/or secondary characters. As evidenced by my rating, this novel was quite good as well. I have to admit though it didn't wow me as much as the previous one, (I absolutely loved Heartley, so it may have just been a tough act to follow). I think also the already existing friendship between the MCs made their feelings for each other a bit obvious, and I was surprised that they did not fall into bed sooner, given the intensity of their relationship. That being said, I still found this novel incredibly interesting and entertaining, as I have come to expect from Ms. Sebastian. I'm not sure if this is the last of the Sedgwicks that we will see, but I am certainly hoping there is more to come.
