I really liked this volume a lot. It was a lot darker than some of the previous volumes and I loved this. I’ve recently got into grimdark stories and this volume while not being grimdark, was heading in that direction.
Continuing on from the summer camp arc, this volume mainly features The League of Villains and I’ve been saying this is what I wanted so thank you Kohei Hirokoshi!
I loved seeing the pro heroes and the “pro” villains battle it out. This volume brought All Might back into the frame since he sat volume 9 out, and showed us how guilty he felt about the attack on the students.
Ida annoyed me though. The students are trying to save Bakugo from The League of Villains and he has to be there to enforce the rules. Such a party pooper! XD
I like how Shoto wasn’t focused on tons which meant the limelight could be spread around. I still want to see more of the other students being developed but I did appreciate the U.A. teachers dealing with the media which showed us that even they have to answer to someone.
I really like the artwork in these volumes but there was some excellent ones in here. Full page spreads and triple threat attacks on a villain looked awesome.
Since this one ends on such a big cliffhanger, I really can’t wait to see what will happen in volume 11!
