This book was in parts perfect and in part infuriating. There were plenty of times I wanted to shake Dawn, and then I was forced to confront the fact that the way she feels is very realistic and true to the time period. The early 00s were a time we are only just beginning to unravel, and the added layer of the queer community at the time, well, that's another fascinating knot to pick apart.

Lovely and earnest, if occasionally contrived. I'd recommend this to many
