This sat at a solid it’s-not-bad-just-average for me all the way through until the twist at the end that I just never saw coming bumped it up half a star rating.
The smut is a bit too smutty for me, and the writing was mediocre at best (so many descriptives used over and over and over again), but the dragons were super cool and the battle scenes were top notch.
Was unsure if I was going to read the sequel for most of my journey through these pages, but after turning the last, I probably will.
