The Lost Symbol, by Dan Brown

1.0

Audiobooks- they're awesome. You can listen to them while you're doing things, and then if they're bad, you don't feel like you wasted any part of your life, because you still accomplished things during that time. Which is why I'm glad I listened to this one. I'm not ashamed to admit that I liked Angels and Demons and The Davinci Code- I can acknowledge that the premises and execution are RIDICULOUS, but they were still enjoyable. Action adventure, twists and turns, and ART HISTORY. That's the real draw to Dan Brown. So... I was pretty disappointed with the Lost Symbol. No real art history (yes, "symbology," but that gets old after awhile), no real shocking twists. Kinda disappointing, and very long. I kept thinking it was over- there were, like, 12 false endings. I was not pleased with this one. I'm just glad I got alot of baking done while listening.
