Stories from Suffragette City by M.J. Rose, Fiona Davis

3.0

This was a really fun and enlightening collection! I liked how the stories interacted in simple yet small ways, and I was always on the search for parts and characters of other stories while reading! I will say that I didn't realize going in that it would all be about the same city and the same event (that's just me not really reading the synopsis), so I expected there to be a lot more variation in the tone/writing and the events, but most of the stories sounded like they could have been written by the same author, so at certain points it wasn't to most exciting read for me, but I liked it nonetheless. I am very glad my local library was carrying this so that I could pick it up and enjoy! I recommend those who want some feminism but nothing too heavy.
