Tiny Beautiful Things: Advice on Love and Life from Dear Sugar by Cheryl Strayed

5.0

When I first read "Wild" I was not impressed. I don't enjoy stories of voluntary hardship when it seems obvious to me and the author that they were purposefully setting themselves up for hardship. Upon reading "Dear Sugar," I feel so much more compassion and understanding for Cheryl Strayed. This book, although nominally an advice column, is a beautifully written tale of her own life and difficult choices. I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoyed "Wild" and to those who didn't.
