"We were so innocent–its own kind of power– before you got to be so scared of things, labeled it growing up. We thought we knew it all, didn't we?"

Well, this book made me feel so alone. And lost. I mean, I already feel that and this heightened that feeling.
I don't know...I am in a weird stage in my life so I think that's why the book hit as hard as it did.
Also, I didn't know that this was a collection of stories instead of a novel so that made it feel a little disjointed to me. It was a surreal experience nonetheless.
Most of these stories will grip you HARD, and if you are feeling as disillusioned with life as I am right now, I don't think you'll enjoy this book. Lol You'll just feel haunted and alone. Be warned.
