Interesting story, with inspiration from Hades and Persephone.
The magic system is interesting and all the characters introduced had a purpose. Some of the dialogue between characters was a little odd.
The first chapter or two was confusing, I feel like it could have been written in a different way to bring readers into the world and be more engaging.
Good world building and character development. Enjoyed the romance between Luella and Eldas.
The bonus chapter would have been great to include in an epilogue.
