This read just like an episode of Doctor Who, right down to the TARDIS sounds. It was a great addition to Rose and the 9th Doctor adventures and certainly makes up for how the later seasons (I’m looking at you 12) become terrible. I missed 9 and when the show was actually good and this book had everything I wanted in it. Twists and turns, snark, and especially the time travel.
The steampunk 1920’s was such a fun world to be in and the added twist of the Romanov family was a great addition. Now I can’t wait to see what new adventures these books take me on!
