I loved the characters, I was surprised that they went into the direction that they did with an amputee character.

Book one is still my favorite, for some reason all the elements in that book was just perfect. The romance and the tension, all of it was smooth-flowing.

What I didn't like about this book is the romance. I can see Piper and Tristan together, yes, but the attraction felt forced. I was being "told" they were attracted to each other, rather than read through it myself. I didn't appreciate how their romance was written. There were no proofs to back up the claims that they were falling for each other.

I wish there was also an explanation as to how Jack found them.

This is an okay book, it just all felt rushed and I didn't enjoy it as much as I did the first book. Nonetheless, I hope others who will read this will enjoy it.
