The only reason I read this is because one of my student’s wants to write a paper on it this semester. It’s not my typical type of book, but I ended up extremely invested. I loved Pippa and Ravi, so rooting for them as they attempt to uncover what actually happened was easy. It also made it easier to suspend disbelief that they were able to uncover as much as they did. I also appreciated the exploration of the deeper issues of perception and collective memory.
