If I Die by Rachel Vincent

4.0

Gosh, this was such a ride! This book totally killed me!

I thought that it was pretty interesting what Rachel Vincent did, putting Kaylee on the Reaper's list. This only made everything much more appealing, yet much more heartbreaking and hard to read.

The way she wrote it, it really seemed that I was the one knowing that I was going to die in 6 days and waiting for it to happen. There were times that it really hurt.
It really seemed that I was standing there, wanting to live and experience everything good life had to offer, yet time kept running away and I was painfully aware that each beat of my heart was there to remind me that I no longer that options.
Talk about hard!

But hey, this is what you want from a book, right? If you're not able to feel strong emotions, then the book is not really a good one.

Also, I loved that we know more about Tod than about Nash in this book. Tod is such an incredible guy! :D By far the most interesting character of the whole series. :)
He is really the right one for Kaylee! +.+ And he's sweet and sexy! xD
I was really tired of all that drama with Nash. --'
I'm still hell of pissed with him and I think that he couldn't get lower than he got with that comment about Kaylee having no soul, among other things.
He needs to calm down, grow up and stop feeling sorry for himself! --' Because he is not the victim in all this! --'
It is not Kaylee's fault that he is a sorry ass addict without a backbone, that goes running to his addiction everytime something in his life is not according to his plans! --'
And everyone could see that things between him and Kay were not as they used to be. They were just together out of loyalty. And he wants to jump into Sabine's pants anyway. --'
Nash is such a hypocrite! --'

That being said, I didn't like how the author put Kaylee and Tod together! --'
I loved that she put them together, at last, but I didn't like the fact that there was cheating involved!

But apart from that, I have nothing to say, besides the fact that you should read this book.
