Biker Daddy by Kara Kelley

The story of a tough Daddy Dom biker and his sweet baby girl

This story is a good blend of a tale of a man trying to escape his MC past, and build a future with the girl he fell in love with as a boy, along with some smoking hot DDlg kink. I haven't read anything by this author before, so wasn't sure what to expect. What I discovered was a really heart warming second-chance romance, some domestic discipline and a romantic suspense sub-plot that together created an entertaining and easy to read story.

Addi and Drew were both likeable and believable characters, neither of them perfect and both weighed down by the baggage of their past. Their shared, unhappy history is one barrier in the way of a future together, but worse than that is the threat posed to Addi by Drew's father.

I enjoyed how a good chunk of the story concentrated on world building and the growing relationship between Addi and Drew. The book is written first person from both perspectives, so I got a really good feel for both of them and found it easy to believe in their growing connection. The balance of steam/kink and plot was really good. There was enough heat to convince me of the chemistry between Drew and Addi, without it overwhelming the story.

There are lots of different elements that cleverly wove together to lead to the culmination of the story. The book really focuses more on Addi and Drew, so this part didn't so much feel rushed as it felt concluded fairly quickly. However it was a very plausible ending and I'm rather hoping it was building towards a story for Layla, Trevor and Brent. That's one story I would love to read!
