I absolutely fell in love with the story and the universe Cline created for this book. I watched the movie soon after and I enjoyed the movie as well. At the end of the day, we can't compare novels to books because they are different media formats and I enjoyed both. By far, I loved the book more due to it's details in world building and the message at the end of the book.
