honestly, somewhat of a fun read, but only really because i enjoyed making fun of the characters and laughing at the silly tropes and plot points. this was a very unserious read, and if i were ten years younger, i would have likely formed core memories over this story.
i'll not criticise or critque in depth because i don't actually hate it. Elise Kova is making bank on these, and i applaud her for finding her demographic. unfortunately, it just wasn't my cup of tea this time around.
