This book is so unnecessarily confusing. The non linear story lines and memories are just so confusing. Thalergy and Thanergy are never explained. The book just assumes you know what’s going on. Instead of a mystery created in well crafted story telling, it’s created by confusing story telling. I really like the story, I think it’s a very interesting story but the amount of effort to understand what is going on is such a slog.
