My friend bought this book, and immediately after finishing, told me to read it. I read the description, and then it immediately made its way to the top of my to-read list. From what I have read in the review section, i think that it is important to mention that I read the version published for sale, and not the original version on Wattpad. I’m fairly sure that there is a difference between them, but I am not 100% certain, as I have never read the Wattpad version.

I absolutely loved this book. First off, there is Hadley. I loved her character. Her character isn’t perfect, and she isn’t like so many other protagonists that populate ya fiction. I feel like most of the other protagonists in countless books would be too enveloped in their own problems and self pity to even consider helping out someone they barely know. And this is exactly where I was drawn to Hadley. And Archer is another great character. It’s clear to the reader right from the first few pages that Archer isn’t perfect, and it just drew me into the story even more. If there is one thing that will make me put down a book, it’s a perfect character. It seems to unreal and completely not relatable in any way, shape, or form. And to my pleasant surprise, I found no perfect characters. Archer’s family is amazingly developed, Hadley’s parents are characterized in a way that works well in the story, and everything just fits in and flows. The setting is well described and conveyed to the reader. I had a vision of what everything looked like, and was able to get that vivid image without long sentences of boring descriptions. I would definitely recommend this book, and had such a fun time reading these characters’ stories.
