The Treachery of Russian Nesting Dolls by Orest Stelmach

5.0

I don't give a lot of 5-star reviews. But this book. I'm honestly having trouble forming coherent thoughts to write this review. This book absolutely blew my mind. It's an intense murder mystery that will keep you guessing until the end set against the backdrop of Amsterdam. I absolutely couldn't put it down. The characters are fascinating and complex, the plot is engrossing, and the writing is wonderful. To put it simply, I absolutely loved it.

With that said, I have not read the other books in the series (though I'm definitely planning to soon), and so I was missing the history between Simmy and Nadia. However, this did not detract from my enjoyment of the story.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
