When They Come for You by James W. Hall

3.0

I couldn't put this book down because of how quickly everything moves along. A lot happens, but as the book progressed, I feel like some of the twists become less believable; for example, the main character, who hasn't used her martial arts training for years, is repeatedly able to take down trained assailants who are armed. Despite needing to suspend disbelief every now and then, I enjoyed the plot and the relationships in the main character's family.
