while the pace of the book was intriguing, it also felt jumpy and clunky. the tension could've been heightened by more in depth interactions and bond between the characters and even more build up to more of the intense actions made by characters. i feel like building up the tension in intrigue in the two characters and the bdsm side of the relationship could've been really interesting, but instead it felt stale and unexplored, moving too fast to really feel like some of the intensity of actions and interactions were warranted.
