Judas by Jeff Loveness

5.0

I wasn't ready for this short and powerful telling of the story of Judas. You've heard his story about how he betrayed Jesus, but what happened after?

What I loved:
The whole freaking story line. I was on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next, why the world was this happening and was a reading something that was almost blasphemous, but needless to say, I didn't stop.
I loved the imagery of the story. I don't read a lot of graphic novels, but I have a deep love for them and this one will be getting purchased.

My critique:
I wanted more...I mean, I don't know how much more could of been told, but I just wanted more....
At the beginning it was a little hard to follow. About 5 pages in, I had to go back to fully grasp what was happening.

Overall:
I want it and need it in my life. Man...let me tell ya'll about the enemy. When the word says that he comes to kill, steal and destroy, like a thief in the night, you betta believe it. He is so cunning, no swift, sometimes you don't even know you being trick, what the young people say...Stay Woke...yea, you need to Stay Woke...jeez it really was great.

4.5 Stars!
