Thank you to BookFunnel and Cali Melle for this eARC. Okay first of all, I love that there’s a playlist. I listened to it while reading and it really fit the mood of the plot perfectly. Little things like that give authors a bonus point in my book. 

Of course I will always support and advocate for disability representation in books, and Giana was a Deaf FMC who still had spunk and stood up for herself when she felt her voice and independence were being stepped on. Then there was Declan, the golden-retriever, athlete MMC who melted my heart with the care and thoughtfulness he had toward Giana.

The only thing that makes this a 4 star instead of 5 is that I felt the romance moved a little bit too quickly so in the beginning it felt more like infatuation than love. Everything else though? Awesome. I love turtles, I love the beach, I love romance and I love when disabled people are portrayed as the strong, capable people that we are. I really hope everyone will give this book a read.
